Our physicians visit newborns at Northside-Atlanta (sometimes called “big Northside” or “main Northside”) and North Fulton hospitals. We typically do rounds on the first and second mornings after a baby is born. If you’re having a baby at one of these hospitals, let the staff know when you check in that you’d like a doctor from our practice to examine and take care of your baby. They’ll call us after your baby is born. Unless your child has a special health problem, you do not have to pre-register or give our practice any information beforehand.
If you’re having a baby at a hospital that we don’t attend, your baby will be seen by a staff pediatrician, who will then transfer care to us after you go home.
