Lara A. Burer, Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP)
Lara was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan, she gained experience in several capacities as a Registered Nurse. At All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida she worked as an RN on a post-surgical floor and later in the Operating Room. Upon moving to New York City, she worked as an RN at New York Presbyterian Hospital in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. After settling in Atlanta, she completed her graduate education at Emory University, earning a Master’s Degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Lara now resides in Alpharetta with her husband and German Shepherd. She is a roller-coaster enthusiast and enjoys decorating cakes and playing the piano in her free time.
